What exactly does Content Mapping entail?
"I think almost everyone involved in content marketing has used it at some point, without realizing it. Content mapping is a sustainable way of distributing your content. You chop up your content and tailor it to the channel and the associated audience. This could be a video that you cut up into shorter videos, an article from which you extract certain paragraphs or quotes, but also, for example, a podcast, from which you select an excerpt and have an animation made to go with it. The possibilities are endless."
What do participants learn during the training?
"In this training you take the first step to becoming a Content Mapping professional. Upon completion, you will be able to determine more angles from your content items (video, article, podcast, et cetera) for your content on different channels and know how to reach your audience with relevant updates on the right channel.
You will learn what content mapping is and why you should apply it. We will cover the basics of content mapping and give several real-life examples. In addition, I offer tools for content mapping and we cover practicaltools that you can use to improve the performance of your content, such as management tools for social media. Then we will get to work creating content maps with your own content.
Finally, I zoom in on the benefits of content formats. Formats ensure recognition among your target audience and provide a foothold for the creator. With formats you create an oil slick, especially if they are successful. The flight of AI will also be discussed during the training. What opportunities does this offer for content mapping?"
